Live Cooking - The Key to Success

The executive chef, Engelbert Gamsriegler, knows about the importance of good food for the overall customer experience. For over 2 ½ years the Austrian national relies on live cooking in front of the guests and regularly organizes theme nights. Currently he is running Mediterranean, Asian, Indian, Italian, Seafood, Brazlian, and German/Austrian nights during the week.

A key element to provide the flexibility needed for such a diverse cuisine is a high-power front-cooking station with built-in airclean system - the varithek acs from Rieber. It is also used for morning breakfast, cooking egg dishes, and at lunch times for freshly prepared pasta, seafood and grills. Depending on the requirements, the specific cooking modules can simply be plugged into the station.

"LIVE COOKING HAS BROUGHT A NEW DIMENSION TO OUR GUESTS AND CREATES A GREAT ATMOSPHERE IN THE RESTAURANT - FOR OUR CLIENTS, WAITERS AND CHEFS", says Engelbert. Driven by the success the hotel is now working on an extension, with new restaurants.
