Company started as a "Construction and furniture workshop" in Reutlingen.
1927
Wells made of enamelled steels are fitted into the sink counters for the first time.
1933
The construction and furniture workshop develops series production for sink counters made of teak with inserted enamel basins.
1936
First tests with rustproof steel.
1950
15% of the sinks are already supplied in rustproof stainless steel.
1959
A large order for the hotel kitchen in the Madrid Hilton is the first step into the canteen business sector.
1963
A former weaving shop in Bronnweiler is bought, the workforce is kept on and retrained and the Werk 2 is born.
1964
The complete Rieber NORMset program is launched onto the market.
1968
The first Rieber Thermoport made of stainless steel.
1978
The first Rieber Thermoport made of plastic. A new building called Werk 3 is erected on 8000 m² in the Betzingen industrial estate West for system construction.
1981
Rieber introduces food distribution products.
1985
With the production of industrial parts, Rieber gets a foot in the door in the supplier technology industry.
1992
Own production of refrigeration elements in Trebbin (near Berlin).
1993
Renamed into Rieber GmbH & Co. KG.
1995
New building Werk 4: 10.000 m² connected to Werk 3 for series production and logistics centre.
1998
SAP introduction throughout the factory. Certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
2000
75 years Rieber in the Millennium. International orientation continued.
2005
Rieber and the Max Maier Group join forces to establish an exemplary partnership.
